I do love this ‘Sugar-Free’ Strawberry Daiquiri since I love strawberries. And they are so easy to grow in a garden and even just in a pot. About five years ago, I planted three everbearing strawberry plants in a section in my garden. My valiant husband Douglas gave the usual warning that comes from people who don’t garden: “those spread you know.” Of course, I know they spread Douglas, that’s why I’m planting them. And with that, I planted them in their own little section, where they can take over their own little hill as much as they would like. Yum! Already I can see a ‘Sugar-Free’ Strawberry Daiquiri in my future!

The recipe is super easy…. squeeze the lime, throw the berries in the blender, the
drink really comes together in less than 5 minutes.

This year grew in abundance, and I couldn’t stop picturing a glass with filled with keto strawberry daiquiri goodness while they ripened. What could be better really? Because a good strawberry daiquiri is like getting a kiss from summer. And, no, I am not exaggerating. Truly, the strawberry daiquiri is one of the most refreshing drinks on the planet. It smells of summer, breathes summer, tastes like summer. Ok, you get my point.
Also, daiquiris have a history as being good for you, having been invented in order to protect people from yellow fever (for real). So I guess, you can say a daiquiri is good for you? Of course you can.

It’s easy to adjust for alcohol free –– Especially handy if you are being super strict with a Keto or Paleo diet as well.

This drink is also easy to dress up, and the bright red colour is just lovely with guests. Another thing that I like about it too, is that is has less alcohol than many other cocktails, since rum is the only ingredient with alcohol. And because of that, it’s easy to adjust the recipe to be alcohol-free, by replacing the rum with club soda and a ½ oz of simple syrup. Especially handy if you are being super strict with a Keto or Paleo diet as well.

As with other cocktails, I like to use a brandy snifter to serve or a small daiquiri glass. Some of the daiquiri glasses can be a bit big, and while this recipe is low-carb with no added sugar, strawberries collectively do have sugar, so making one to fit a larger daiquiri or hurricane glass may require more than one serving to do so. That’s why I like the smaller glasses.

Use a quality blender to incorporate frozen strawberries. If you prefer to have some ice in your daiquiri mix so your drink is less rich, it’s even more reason to use a good stand blender.

It’s good to have a quality blender to incorporate frozen strawberries with the fresh. I prefer to use a stand blender for that reason. If you prefer to have some ice in your daiquiri mix so your drink is less rich, than that is even more reason to use a good stand blender.

Keto Strawberry Daiquiri

The recipe is super easy. Your upfront prep would be to freeze the required amount of strawberries if you haven’t done so already. Once that is done, squeeze the lime, throw the berries in the blender, the drink really comes together in less than 5 minutes.

Garnishing is easy with a Strawberry over the side with a lime.

My ‘Sugar-Free’ Strawberry Daiquiri recipe is below. Let me know what you think of it & post a picture of how you dressed yours up!

Hope you enjoy this drink as much I do.
