This farm-to-table green salsa has a great tang from the green tomatoes, tomatillos, and lime. The salsa has a natural sweetness to it, so it has no added sugar. Peppers are selected based on their spice level to have either a mild or hot variety.
Located in Glenville, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, all our principal ingredients are sourced from what we grew here on our farm.
Made in small batches and then hand labelled, no two batches are exactly the same, and no jar is completely identical. Since we use fabric scraps, while every jar will be finished with a fabric cover and ribbon, the exact fabric and ribbon may change based on supply.
Glenville Green Salsa (either mild or medium/hot)
Ingredients: Tomatillos, green tomatoes, onions, jalapeno and serrano peppers, garlic cloves, cilantro, ground cumin, marjoram, oregano, salt.
