Dark Chocolate Bar 43g
This sugar-free Dark Chocolate Bar is lovely size to snack on or share, averaging around 43 grams per bar. People ask me if this is 70% dark chocolate. The short answer is yes and no. Let me explain: allulose is 70% as sweet as table sugar, so if I make my Dark Chocolate with 30% allulose and 70% Cocoa solids, the chocolate wouldn't taste as lovely as the traditional 70% dark chocolate bar. So, to mitigate this, I added more allulose than you would if you used regular sugar. That means my dark chocolate tastes 70% dark chocolate but isn't -- so I can't say it is. Make sense? I hope so 🙂
The bottom line is that it's super delicious, contains only natural ingredients, is made from scratch, and you get all the chocolate goodness without the sugar—so seriously, hooray! Now, I try to make everything I do farm-to-table, but I don't grow my own chocolate (wouldn't that be awesome!) since the Canadian climate is not compatible with growing cocoa beans. I do, however, only purchase from suppliers that can assure me that they are sourcing ethically, for fair wages, with no child labour, and from small-scale farmers just like me.
